    Any great tips for fighting anxiety and panic attacks.?
    I have been battling anxiety for about six years and i wish it would just go away, well it doesn't and i would love any advice on how to cope.

    Have you ever been to a psychologist or psychiatrist? They have a vast amount of knowledge on treatment for anxiety/depression/whatever ails you.

    The thing you need to know is your anxiety is being triggered by something, so you need to find out what that is -- that's the first step.

    A therapist can help you with a variety of relaxation therapy techniques (biofeedback, imagery, hypnotherapy, etc.). If worst comes to worst, you may have to be put on anti-depressants, which can act as anti-anxiety medications (like Prozac).

    Hey i used to suffer really badly with panic attacks too! I found that by trying to clear my mind before i go to sleep that would sometimes help although it wasn't a solution it helped a bit. I've stopped having mine since i started taking a medication called Clonazepam seen as i used to have around 4 panic attacks a day i'm really happy they've stopped maybe ask your doctor to prescribe this for you? its side effect is sedation so it helps with sleep as well!

    Oh hunni, i know exactly how horrible they are, i suffered with them horrificly, i wouldnt leave my house because i was so scared of having one in public, i saw a councillor and she taught me how to control my fear, only u can do it, by speakin to urself at the time of your attack, like say if ur scard about social situations for example really talk to urself and keep saying your irrational and ur being pethetic, im telling u it works, occupy your mind when you feel one coming on, this helped me soo much, read a book or put on your favourite song, but its easier said than done but it can be done because im an example of it! alothough i have a panic attack every nw and then its no way near as bad

    I suffered with panic attacks also! I always felt like I was short of breath and I was going to have a heart attack! I went to the hospital one night because I got so worried my heart was beating so fast!

    The doctor told me I was having a panic attack! I had never heard of anyone having a panic attack..I didn't know how to cope with my problem, and no one seemed to understand how this feels to have a panic attack I finely found a cure for my attacks.Ill share the site with you.
