What triggered your panic attacks is irrevelant. The limbic system responds to behavior and if you start acting like a non anxious person you will retrain your limbic system to be less anxious. By overanalyzing your anxiety and relying on others for reassurance (acting like an anxious person) you are feeding it. So stop obcessing about the way you feel and just go on doing things like normal. Distract yourself with work and hobbies. Panic attacks are viscous cycle of "fear". Fear is what brings them on; the fear of the horrible sensations. Just give into them, don't try to fight them. The more you obcess about them the more power you give them.
Remember how you get scared after watching a scary movie? And you look around thinking that a zombie will jump out, and even though you know it isn't real you are still scared? How do you get over that? Do you take pills? No-- You don't obcess about the zombie monsters. You know the movie isn't real so you just go and live your life and eventually the fear goes away. Same thing here.
