Best Panic attacks treatment: Can panic attacks and generalised anxiety disorder be completely cured?

  • wichmand84 · 5 months ago
The first step of recovery is understanding what is causing the attacks and learning to cope or simply get over them. From there on out theres medication (which i would not suggest, although it may be the best option for some people) Therapy is another good thing to try, even if its just with really close friends or family.

Three years ago I was jumped a few miles from my house, i was so paranoid for a while that I wouldn't even go around that area for the longest time. I was always worried about walking places and practically refused to go out at night.

I went back to the place and acted the situation out in my head a hundred times and eventually understood that it happend and its over. Yeah it sucked, but theres no point in getting worried about something that already happend.

I hope this helps. I know how scary things can be but you have to remember that its all in your head.

It can get about 99% percent cured you'll always have a little bit of anxiety, but it's only a little after getting it fixed the most you can. I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder I have gotten a lot of treatment and it's almost completely gone but i still get a little be of anxiety around certain things.

It can be treated but not successfully cured permanently. A lot of people may have to stay on meds the rest of their lives. Others might take them for a year or so and then be able to manage the problem enough to go without them. If it is only caused by a pattern of thinking it can be successfully treated with therapy.

you can get over this...but the change has to come with you and only you...little by little you have to eliminate the things that cause you to be anxious by doing things that don't cause it and by putting those things in your life it will take away the anxious feelings...this sounds awfully simple but it is not and it takes a long time...small steps...most people try to change all at once and that just causes more anxiety to feed into it...
