yes, there are some great pills that you put under your tongue when it happen... fast relief.. named ATIVAN. there might be something even better now.. as long as you don't get hooked on those pills, you're ok

Chances are your mono and panic attacks are unrelated. Panic attacks are VERY common and occur because of lots of different things for lots of different people. They are often times triggered by something, even if you don't realize what it is. But the general thought is that something triggers a panic attack to start, so your heart beats faster, your breathing rate increases, you start to sweat, you get really nervous etc. This makes you think there is something wrong and you start to get more and more worried, which increases your heart rate, breathing rate and sweating, nervousness! It's a vicious cycle. Sometimes people can talk themselves down from a panic attack, but other times they require medication. I would recommend that if they are causing you worry you should consult a doctor and ask about possible treatments. It will be really beneficial in the long run!

Your stressed. Go outside when you have them it helps, a lot. You are more in tune to whats around you than most people, so its hard on the mind to see reality like you do. Its a curse and a gift. You know truth but handling it is another thing, because most people like their pretend world and don't want your truths. Keep going to school and You will find your equals and your relief.

I am not sure if panic attacks enlarges the heart. I use to suffer from panic attacks in the past. I thought I was having a heart attack the first time it happened to me. Your best bet is to check with the doctor so they can run tests to make sure something else is not going on, like blood tests. If you are suffering from panic attacks you can be treated by medications and also relaxation breathing helps. Limit your caffeine intake also helps in preventing panic attacks. I would have the doctor check it out further for you. Panic attacks are a common medical condition.

I've had panic attacks before. I was afraid of Death. I would breathe heavily, get the chills and just feel cold and hurtful.
I thought the panic attack was some disease. I almost wanted to call 911 it was so bad. I went to a doctor and they said there was absoulutley nothing wrong with me. I saw a theripast for about 8 months and got better, i am no longer afraid of death ( my theripast recommended church). Dont worry panic attacks are normal. Go see a doctor if your that afraid. Get a theripast, now. My family has history of panic attacks, so ask your mom or dad if they have it.
